I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Gestalt Psychotherapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. I incorporate art and movement/ dance therapy as an additional service and have been serving the public needs for over 21 years.
I specialize in Solution Focused, Structural and Psychoanalytic treatment, and can offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and assistance in meeting people where they are at. Among my areas of focus are pre-marital counseling, conflict resolution, divorce support. I can offer parenting education, trauma focused therapy, prenatal, perinatal and postpartum support. I have many years of experience working with anxiety, depression, life adjustments, grief and self esteem. I can also provide Clinical Supervision, and often work with younger populations navigating social and school related issues.
In addition to being a relationship therapist, I have presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of the effective treatment of Trauma for victims and their families. I can provide TF-CBT or EMDR.
My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client that I meet with. With compassion and understanding and the offering of perspective, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
